Catch up

Can it really be almost four weeks since the last post? This month of March has just flown by for us. It has felt about 5 days long. Anyway, there's a lot to that we can catch you up on, but I'm not gonna do it all in this email. throughout this weekend and next week, I'll be putting up different posts about some random things that have happened over the past few weeks, hopefully with some pictures.

Suffice it to say that Russ & I have just come out of a very stressful time, with me filling in the position of 2+ people and Russ being busy in his own job, plus supporting me, the roller-coaster, stressball that I've been. So after a last-minute trip to Singapore to ensure Russ' health was all in order (there were some concerns that have been put to rest. He is well and healthy - just needs less stress!!), we went for a week to Pulau Asu, quickly becoming our favourite place to visit in Indonesia. We got some much needed rest and a chance to disengage from work and gather our thoughts about work, people and the direction of our lives. It has been really great to do some reflecting. Now, we are coming back to our jobs - for me, there is much less on my plate - about as much as any normal person should have and still be able to do decent work - and some more staff on board to take care of some of the jobs that have been put on the back-burner. So we are able to look forward with hope and enthusiasm, which is a really great place to be!

In addition, Russ parents will be coming to Indo for a visit for 2 weeks at the end of April, so we are looking forward to that break and the chance to spend that time with them!

So, stay tuned for more posts in the very near future, and sorry for being so sporatic in posting and rather vague in this post as well. Only so much you can write on the web. :)
