Saturday morning after breakfast - checking out the local waterfall:
After breakfast, we went to check out the local street parade. These are a couple of the more exciting floats...

Then we checked out some cowboy hats at a local consignment store
After that, we drove out to Canim Lake to join some of my aunts & uncles at a BBQ. It was COLD!!

On Sunday, we got this brilliant idea to straighten Russ' hair with Anna's straight-iron. haha.

Isn't it awesome?? He looked like such a skid. hahaThe rest of the morning/afternoon, we spent at Hartwig Lake Ranch doing some target shooting. Russ got to sport that hairdo ALL DAY. And it was Anna's first time ever shooting a gun. She was nervous at first, but loved it and took no time at all getting the hang of it!

We all donned one of Russ' SEVEN camoflauge hats. PLEASE everyone!! No more camo caps!!

Saturday night eating dinner....Russ' straight hair was starting to get to him. After dinner he decided to wet it to get the curls back. He felt a lot better after that. Actually, we all did.

Ping pong & mate, that is. Monday, we spent the morning playing a game and checked out the newly reopened Ironhorse Pub in Lone Butte.
What a great weekend! Lots of fun activities and fellowship - plus an adequate amount of chill time. Thanks for coming out, guys!

oh dear. first, does the real Mantracker wear Crocs? I can't picture it. And the hair. Dude! So nasty. If you're tired of camo hats, we have a snazzy green and yellow one here somewhere. With mesh at the back. ;)

I don't think Carmen you were planning to become a redneck when you grew up. Congratulations, I will bring up some paint when I come! Ha Ha. Russ looks much better with curls, but it sure is funny.
