He's not the same man I married!!!

He's way skinnier!!!
How do you like his new haircut? I cut it myself. I must say, not a bad job for only having a scissors - no clippers, no comb.

Here's a new picture of us - just for fun. :)

In other news, we visited a traditional Niasi village on Thursday (we had the day off because of the Ascension of Jesus Christ - it's a National Holiday here).

This is what the traditional houses look like. They're pretty amazing! You don't see very many of them around anymore - any new houses are being built square and out of concrete. These ones are built without the use of any nails! Notice the foundation in the picture below - crooked logs!

We just stopped to take a picture and the ladies you see inside invited us in almost immediately. That was SO great. It was one of my goals to make it into one of these traditional houses before we left Indonesia. Wasn't very hard!

The inside is very open and huge. Also very clean. What a privilege to be invited inside!

The kids are always excited to see "Buleh's", so this time I took advantage.

They love to pose. They were just laughing themselves silly and loved to see the pictures after I took them. What fun!
