Our long awaited trip to Prince Rupert finally came and unfortunately went too fast. Brenda's Opa sadly passed away last week and so we had to come back early in order that they could, of course, attend the funeral. It was disappointing to spend less time with the W's and less time in their unique Northern town, but obviously, we understand the circumstances and adjust to life's changes. 
Even so, we enjoyed the time we did have, touring the town, visiting all the hot spots (gun range included), and most of all, being with friends. Hopefully we'll be able to go back someday soon.Brenda, as you continue through the events of this week, we hope for you peace and comfort as you remember your Opa and celebrate the life that he lived.

Please don't tell me you drove through Burns Lake and didn't even stop in to say "hi". I'll be very sad if you did:) I've wanted to go up to see Brenda and Prince Rupert for so long - it just never seems to work out. ~Karlena
